Been spending more time outdoors in quarantine? Us, too! Why not use that outdoor time to give back to pets in need?

After the success and fun we had in our first ever 5K run back in August, we're bringing back another socially distanced fun run in honor of National Love Your Pet Day. Join your fellow pet lovers and outdoor enthusiasts on March 6 for the APA! Palentine's 5K to support homeless pets.

Similar to last August's 5K for APA!, here's how the APA! Palentine's 5K works:

  1. Sign up and save lives with your registration fee.
  2. Run or walk your 5K (or further, if you'd like!) on March 6 in your neighborhood, the green belt, a trail - anywhere you can be safe and socially distanced.
  3. Keep checking in here for updates on giveaways, t-shirts, and more on how to connect with other runners via social media the day of, including in the Facebook event where you can post your times and interact with other runners.

 

Registration is now open and costs $30 for registration and a limited edition Palentine's 5K t-shirt, as well as entry into our prize giveaways, plus a can of High Brew Coffee and a 1/2 queso card from Torchy's Tacos Northshore. Want to register but don't need the t-shirt? You can do that as well for $25.

All proceeds benefit the lifesaving efforts of Austin Pets Alive!. Since COVID-19 turned our world upside down, APA! increased its intake by the thousands. By registering for the APA! Palentine's 5K, you're giving back to the pets who need you most -- and celebrating National Love Your Pet Day!
